It is SØDT’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our website. Accordingly, the below privacy policy has been developed in order for you to understand how personal information is collected, used, communicated, disclosed and otherwise made use of. Please see below for an outline of the privacy policy.

  • SØDT will collect personal information by lawful means and, where appropriate, with the knowledge or consent of the individual concerned.

  • When you place an online order your name will be collected as will your address, email and other contact information to fulfil your order in the most efficient way.

  • SØDT does not store card details on our server. Credit and debit card payments are processed by Stripe on their secure payments server.

  • SØDT will not share your data with third party.

  • SØDT wants to make sure your data is accurate, complete and up-to-date. If this is not the case, please email giovanna@sodt.co.uk so your information can be updated. Likewise, if you would prefer your data was not stored, please let us know and we will electronically delete any data held

  •  SØDT may change this privacy policy from time to time at SØDT’s sole discretion.

  • SØDT is dedicated to making sure your data is kept safe and in accordance with GDPR.

CCTV PRIVACY POLICY

PURPOSE OF CCTV MONITORING
SØDT (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) within and around our business premises for the purposes of:

  • ensuring the safety and security of our employees and visitors

  • to detect and prevent crime

  • to protect against intentional food contamination or sabotage

  • to ensure that company policies, standards and guidelines are followed

We are committed to using CCTV responsibly and in accordance with data protection legislation.

LAWFUL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
Our use of CCTV is based on our legitimate interests in ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and visitors (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR).

AREAS COVERED
CCTV cameras are located in public or communal areas such as entrances, exits, corridors, car parks, and exterior perimeters. Cameras are not installed in private areas such as toilets, changing rooms, or staff rest areas.

INFORMATION COLLECTED
The CCTV system records video images of individuals within view of the cameras. No audio recording is made.

STORAGE & RETENTION
Recorded footage is stored securely in a controlled environment. Footage is retained for 30 days and then automatically deleted unless required for a specific investigation, legal proceeding, or law enforcement request.

ACCESS & DISCLOSURE
Access to CCTV footage is strictly limited to authorised personnel.
Footage may be disclosed to:

  • The police or other law enforcement agencies for the prevention or detection of crime

  • Insurers or legal representatives in connection with claims, incidents, or investigations

  • Other parties where required by law.

We do not share CCTV footage for marketing or any unrelated purpose.

DATA SECURITY
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect CCTV data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

YOUR RIGHTS
Under the UK GDPR, individuals whose images are captured by CCTV have the right to:

  • request access to their personal data (a “Subject Access Request”)

  • request correction or deletion of their data, where applicable

  • object to the processing of their data in certain circumstances.

Requests should be made in writing to the contact below. Proof of identity may be required before we release any footage.
