SØDT makes traditional artisan breads and pastries alongside a range of original rye based recipes, developed and made exclusively by SØDT. We use natural ingredients and slow fermentation for extra depth of flavour. All our ingredients are sourced as locally as possible and we favour small producers.

BROWNIE (21cm x 11cm Tray)


What is more delicious the a piece of good moist chocolate brownie with your tea? In This version I use 70% chocolate and it also has a secret ingredient, which makes is just that little bit extra special. The brownie is 21cm x 11cm, which you will get 8 generous portions from.

To bake the brownie:

Pre-heat the oven to 180˚C, take the brownie out the freezer. Once the oven reaches temperature, bake directly from frozen for 35 minutes. Easy as that! Make sure the temperature is correct as the brownie will over cook and become dry if too high. Let cool down in the tray completely before cutting. Baked pieces that may be left over keeps well in the fridge for 4 days.

The temperature given is for a fan oven. A good rule of thumb is to add 20˚C for a conventional oven. I strongly suggest using an oven thermometer to ensure the correct temperature, especially if using an older oven.

Keep frozen until ready to bake and use within 3 months of purchase.
